Alberta is more than Banff.
Banff National Park is a treasure, no question. But in the summer, it is often overrun. While it is absolutely worth visiting the park, there aren’t that many cycling options there.
All one has to do is head a little further south, into Kananaskis Country, Foothills County, Willow Creek County, and Ranchland County where untouched world class gravel cycling and quiet back roads are found.
